A geometric design with an air of countryside, whose pastel and sunny colours evoke the sweet life in Provence. Delicate latticework embroidery, where the effect of light and shadow is created by two threads in contrasting matt colours. Entirely covered with closely spaced lines of tiny stitches in the style of a Provencal “boutis” quilts, diamond shapes add hatching lines of white threads to bring depth and contrast to the composition. The edges of the diamonds are highlighted with a fine coloured line enriched with festoon stitches.
